Upcycling Your Clothes with Hand Embroidery

Join fiber artists Sandra and Rachel from Uniquely Crafted Designs for a hands on embroidery workshop. Cover up stains, small holes, or maybe you just want to put a little magic into your clothes  Simply bring a garment of your choice and we'll provide you with a simple nature inspired designs to stitch.

 This class with cover the do's and don'ts of embroidering clothes and the stitches that are best suited for you and your garment. We will go over basic stitches like stem stitch, chain stitch, satin stitch, leaf stitch and French knot. You will receive an embroidery hoop, an embroidery needle, a choice of up to 5 DMC embroidery threads and a water soluble transfer design to get you started.

This workshop is beginner friendly with no prior embroidery experience needed. Ages 12+.
